This historic venue combines a classic cinema atmosphere with a traditional European café lounge. The interior features a split aesthetic: a brightly lit, modern café area with copper pendant lighting and a dark, moody cinema auditorium equipped with vintage-style projection equipment and tiered seating.
Transitions between spaces are marked by stone staircases set against textured, raw concrete walls, lending an industrial, subterranean feel to the lower levels. The café lounge offers a mix of casual bar seating and plush, colorful accent chairs, providing varied textures and color pops within a clean, contemporary layout.
The location provides significant tonal contrast, moving from the open, high-key light of the street-front cafe to the low-key, dramatic lighting of the projection room and theater. The presence of built-in staircases and varied floor levels allows for multi-level blocking within a single site.
