The Sofia Stock Station building is located immediately to the east of the Vladaiska River, and has one main entrance giving combined access to both the ground floor and the staircase to the upper floor. Besides it there is another service entrance and two side under covered corridors which connect the main building with the warehouses on the side. The plinth of the building is made of roughly cut granite stones, the stairs and the parapet are also made of granite, but with precise workmanship. The window sills are made of white stone. The tower of the building is wooden, with louvres for ventilation and cladding of copper-plated zinc sheets. Renovated and restored many times.
The project of Stochna Gara Sofia is by the architect Panayot Kalchev (1893 - 1983, Sofia). He designed the buildings and the pre-station spaces of Sofia Stocha Station, Poduyane Station and Pernik Station - true masterpieces of industrial culture and heritage.
Today the building in used for filming and as event space.
