Fragmentary medieval stone walls rise among dense deciduous trees, opening to a wooden viewing platform that overlooks a winding river valley and distant rolling hills. The weathered quadrilateral structure features arched doorways, uneven stonework covered with moss and fallen leaves, and an open layout where natural daylight filters directly through the ruined arches and overhead tree canopy.
The mood is quiet and secluded, characterized by earthy tones of autumn foliage, gray stone masonry, and rustic timber boardwalks. The topography includes sloping terrain, rocky outcrops, and narrow pathways weaving between the historic partitions.
Gear must be hand-carried along elevated wooden walkways and uneven dirt trails as vehicle access is restricted.
