Government & Civic
Government and civic filming locations include city halls, libraries, museums, art galleries, archives, embassies, post offices and community centres, giving filmmakers varied settings for political drama, period pieces, documentary and corporate work. A strong shortlist should account for public opening hours, protection of collections and records, quiet-use rules, security screening and where tripods and lighting are allowed. Search government and civic filming locations on ScoutAround, narrow the results, compare listings, shortlist options and send an availability enquiry for your shoot.
